ANATOMY & PILATES MOVEMENT PRINCIPLES
This workshop covers basic musculo-skeletal anatomy but in a much more comprehensive way. We look at the skeletal system and muscles most commonly affected by Pilates movements, joint movement and other important anatomical terminology. We also take an in-depth look at breathing and the scapular-humeral rhythm; how the shoulder blade should move in order to decrease neck and shoulder tension. This workshop can only be opted out of if completed an equivalent course or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
